The peculiar position of the park area, – inside a river expanansion basin – consequently subject to possible frequent flooding, has suggested the identification of simple design forms, which do not involve ground movements and with artefacts reduced to a minimum to make the equipment compatible with the main function. Considering the program presented in the project at the base of the call for tender, the project by Fagnoni e Associati develops and deepens the solutions making them compatible with the expansion basin primary function and the naturalistic vocation of the partially usable area thus defining the main guidelines of intervention and the objectives to be achieved with the new improvement proposals.
